Earl Grey Bliss Crunch

A delightful fusion of wholesome rolled oats, nutty almonds, and a hint of pumpkin spice, all kissed by the unique flavor of Earl Grey tea. Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • ¼ cup almonds

  • 1 tbs coconut chips

  • 1 ¼ tsp pumpkin seeds

  • ¼ cup walnuts

  • 1 ¼ tsp sunflower seeds

  • ¼ cup pistachios

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice

  • 1 tsp earl grey tea

  • 2 tbs sultanas

  • 2 tbs dried currants

  • 2 tbs raisins

  • 2 tbs dried cherries

  • Prep

      Preheat the oven to 150ºC (300ºF). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat.

      Chop any large ingredients into smaller pieces.

  • Dry Mixture

      In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, almonds, coconut chips, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, sunflower seeds and pistachios.

  • Wet Mixture

      In a saucepan set over low heat, warm the maple syrup, brown sugar, olive oil, salt, pumpkin spice and earl grey tea. Keep stirring until fully mixed, then remove from the heat.

  • Bake

      Fold the wet mixture into the dry mixture, making sure the dry ingredients are thoroughly coated.

      Spread the granola mixture over the prepared baking sheet.

      Bake until dry and lightly golden-brown, 35 to 45 minutes, stirring the granola halfway through.

      Remove the granola from the oven. Mix in the sultanas, dried currants, raisins and dried cherries.

      Allow to cool to room temperature before transferring to an airtight storage container.
